“Scrabble” Locker Magnets

You’ll need:

  • Forster “Woodsies” (1-inch squares)
  • clear acrylic spray
  • ¾-inch fuzzy iron-on letters (Dritz brand works well)
  • iron (with adult help)
  • stick-on magnet strips or pieces
  • scissors

Directions:

  1. Choose the number of woodsie squares you’ll need to make the letters and words you’d like. Spray top of each woodsie with acrylic spray.
  2. With adult help, fasten a fuzzy letter to each woodsie using a hot iron and press cloth. (Tip: Place letter on woodsie, touch iron to letter to tack it in place, then cover with press cloth and press for 10 seconds.) Let cool.
  3. Attach a piece of magnet to the back side of each square.
